QU50534 Timken® Outer Pinion Bearing for most Dana-Spicer Model 25, Model 27AF, Model 30, Model 44, and Model 50 front or rear drive axles from 1941 to current. This is a First Class, original equipment quality bearing that meets or exceeds all vehicle manufacturer specifications making it the top choice for heavy-duty applications like yours. Country of origin may vary as Timken produces Bearings in plants located around the globe, however QU50534 is almost always made in either Canada or the United States.
Until the later 1980's, almost all Dana-Spicer axles used reusable shims to set the pinion preload. Most, but not all Model 30, 44, and 50 axles built since that time use QU40208 nonreusable collapsible spacer (crush sleeve) for preload.
Always replace the cup and cone at the same time.
Rebearing service procedures are covered in my TM4400 Pinion and Differential Bearing Service on Dana-Spicer Monobeam Axles.
